Summer Days.

Happy 1st of September from us all here at Flowerburn! It's been a busy summer and the sun is still shining. August was particularly busy in Nairn, the Farmers Agricultural Show and the Nairn Games day were great successes with many people enjoying the fun and the occasional wee downpour didn't dampen the spirits.

Nairn also hosted the Boys Amateur Golf Championship, a great event with over 200 competitors taking part. We were very lucky and were looking after two of the boys, one from Ireland and one from England. Although they didn't win i think they all left with fond memories of Nairn and Flowerburn.

Now, as summer draws to a close the garden is in need of a tidy up! The rose hedge has been cut and today we start on the leylandii hedge.... not one of my favorite jobs. Maybe Betty will help, as you can see she was a great help when i was cutting the grass!!! (on the bench)
